Report 11/22/13
Headed out this morning with John and some of his friends looking for some Togs. Hit the inlet and instantly realized it was not going to be as nice as the weatherman had predicted. Headed out about 5 miles and started fishing.  Bite was very fussy, but started catching a few fish which all happened to be short.  Told the guys lets try another spot, and we did.  This spot was much of the same short fish, but did manage one legal one. At 1030 John asked me if there was any way we could try the bay for some Togs two of his guys were really starting to feel bad from all the east swell. I said yes that I had a spot in mind.  So we headed in to the bay getting there around  11, with are still only 1 legal fish.  Told the Mate I was going to drop 2 anchors on the spot and we did. As soon as sinkers hit the bottom it was game on. Guys managed 23 more keepers, for a total of 24 fish boat limit, and back to the dock by 230.  Some of the fish we're even nice sized. I am hoping that Tog fishing will get better by January in the Ocean, it has been less than fantastic so far but time will tell.
